With the 2014-2015 NBA season less than a month away, let’s take a look at the notable changes to the uniforms this year as well as taking a look at the NEW Charlotte Hornets.
League-Wide Changes:
The Good: The League has decided to add a gold patch to the back of the collar for teams that have won an NBA championship. The patch will also show how many championships the team has won. (Lakers 16x; Celtics 17x. Shown below)
The Bad: The League has also implemented a change that will move the NBA Logo (previously on the front left shoulder) to the back of the uniform. This is the first step towards corporate branding on NBA uniforms similar to what is done on soccer uniforms.
